You probably remember it.

Covid. Riots. Confusion.

​

The morning after every window in downtown Raleigh was smashed by peaceful protestors, Dan was on the sidewalk with his musical weapons.

​

The very week that most churches were exercising caution & courage by closing their doors, Dan and Nancy called for a gathering of intercessors to meet in a parking lot in the heart of our city. That gathering turned into Welcoming Jesus, a name derived from a vision and a prophetic word.

 

Welcoming Jesus met in that parking lot every Sunday morning for a year and a half, welcoming the Lord of Lords into our city, region, and state.

 

Hundreds of prophetic declarations were made over the PA system, while the frequencies of heaven were released into the earth and atmosphere by Dan and other musicians.

Eventually the city opened back up and cars and people returned to the parking lot, so Welcoming Jesus turned into a home-fellowship group -- or micro-church-- which happily continues to this day.
